Concrete cover protects TMT bars, but it isn't fully waterproof — in coastal and aggressive environments, chloride ions pass through and start corrosion from the inside. Epoxy-coated TMT stops this at the source: Fusion-Bonded Epoxy (FBE) powder is electrostatically applied to a heated bar and cured into a continuous, pinhole-free film, giving standard TMT strength plus a permanent barrier against chlorides, moisture, and chemicals.

// 02 — How the FBE Process Works
Fusion-Bonded Epoxy coating is a five-stage industrial process. Every bar passes through each step in sequence under controlled conditions before leaving the line.
One FBE line, every form of coated steel: TMT bars, dowel bars, pre-bent rebar cages, rebar baskets, stirrups & rings, cut & bend steel, and structural wire cages — with every scrap, powder, and pallet off the line recovered and reused, not landfilled.

Standard deformed TMT reinforcing bars (Fe 415, Fe 500, Fe 500D, Fe 550) with full FBE coating across all diameters. The foundation product — used in columns, beams, slabs, and foundations wherever corrosion protection is specified.
Smooth round bars placed at concrete pavement joints to transfer load between slabs while allowing thermal movement. Epoxy coating prevents the joint lock-up caused by rust expansion — the leading cause of premature pavement joint failure on highways and runways.
Epoxy-coated bars bent and tied into ready-to-place cages for columns, pile caps, and footings — in a controlled factory environment. Eliminates the coating damage that occurs when bars are bent on-site after delivery, solving the industry's biggest handling challenge.
Pre-fabricated ladder-style stirrup basket assemblies — parallel stirrups fixed to longitudinal spacer bars — epoxy coated and shipped flat-packed, ready to open and place into footings, pile caps, and culvert reinforcement.
Factory-bent stirrups and rings in standard sizes from 7x3 to 7x10 and beyond, in thicknesses from 6 mm to 16 mm, epoxy coated and ready to tie into columns, beams, and footings.
Bar stock cut and bent to your bar bending schedule (BBS) — hooks, links, cranks, and custom shapes — epoxy coated and delivered ready to place, no on-site fabrication required.
Heavy-gauge welded wire mesh cages — epoxy coated for outdoor and corrosive environments — built for site security storage, equipment enclosures, and material cages rather than structural reinforcement.
