// Overview

Solving Rebar's Biggest Handling Problem

Pre-Bent Rebar Cages

The single biggest risk to an epoxy coating is what happens after the bar leaves the coating line. Cutting and bending on-site โ€” with hand tools, in the open, under time pressure โ€” is where nicks, cracks, and stripped patches of coating are most commonly introduced, undermining the entire purpose of specifying coated steel in the first place.

Pre-bent cages remove that risk at the source. Bars are cut, bent to the exact column, pile cap, or footing geometry, and tied into a complete cage inside a controlled factory environment, then delivered to site ready to lift into the formwork. The only handling the coating faces after that is placement โ€” not fabrication.

  • Bending performed in controlled factory conditions, not on open site
  • Cage geometry built to structural drawing โ€” columns, pile caps, footings
  • Eliminates the coating damage that on-site bending typically causes
  • Delivered pre-tied and ready to lift directly into formwork
  • Reduces site labour, tying time, and quality-control burden

// Manufacturing & Quality

Coating Integrity, Verified After Bending

Because bending is the highest-risk step for coating damage, it gets its own inspection stage.

01
Coated Bar Intake
Straight epoxy-coated bars are received and staged by diameter and cage type.
02
Controlled Bending
Bars are bent on calibrated benders using coating-safe mandrels and radii per IS 2502.
03
Post-Bend Coating Check
Every bend is visually and holiday-tested for coating cracks or disbondment before tying.
04
Cage Tying & Repair
Cages are tied with coated binding wire; any minor nicks found are patched on the spot before dispatch.

// FAQ

Common Questions

Cage types
Column, pile cap, footing and pier cages, in 8โ€“32 mm bar diameter per project drawing.
Why factory-bent?
On-site bending is the leading cause of coating damage โ€” factory bending removes that risk before dispatch.
Coating check after bending?
Every bend is visually and holiday-tested for cracks or disbondment before tying, per IS 13620.
Delivery form
Fully tied, ready-to-lift cage, built to your project drawing and schedule.
