Reinforcement Baskets, Ready to Open

Epoxy-Coated Rebar Baskets

A rebar basket is a ladder-shaped assembly of parallel stirrups held at fixed spacing by longitudinal spacer bars โ€” commonly used to reinforce footings, pile caps, and box culverts where a repeating stirrup pattern would otherwise be hand-tied one ring at a time on site.

Built and coated in the factory, the basket ships in a flat-packed, concertina form and opens out to its full working length on site, with stirrup spacing already fixed. This keeps epoxy coating intact through fabrication and removes the slowest part of footing reinforcement โ€” placing and tying dozens of individual stirrups by hand.

  • Factory-fixed stirrup spacing โ€” no on-site marking or measuring
  • Flat-packed for compact transport, opens to full length on site
  • Coating applied after basket assembly, covering all tie points
  • Matched to footing, pile cap, and culvert reinforcement drawings
  • Reduces site tying labour compared to individual stirrup placement

// Manufacturing & Quality

Assembled, Then Coated

Basket coating follows the same weld/tie-then-coat logic as welded mesh, applied to a 3D stirrup assembly.

01
Stirrup Forming
Individual stirrups are bent to spec on calibrated benders.
02
Basket Assembly
Stirrups are fixed to spacer bars at the specified spacing to form the ladder basket.
03
Post-Assembly FBE Coating
The complete basket is blasted and coated as one unit, sealing every tie point.
04
Flat-Pack & QA
Baskets are tested for coating continuity, then flat-packed for transport.
